Incense burner with Sieve

That depends on what heat your resine or herbs needs. Delicate herbs and resins such as sage or pine require little heat. Place about half a teaspoon of it in a circle on the outer edge of the sieve and light the tea light underneath. If your incense needs higher temperatures, remove the upper part of the warmer and only use the lower one. Fill this with sand and place a piece of glowing coal in the middle. Once this is well heated, you can place your herbs and resins on it.

Your nose and stomach decide how often you add incense. There is no right or wrong. As soon as you think that the smell is subsiding or you feel like you want to add more, you can simply add new smoked food to the existing smoked food.

To ensure that resins burn better and release the essential oils, they should be crushed in a mortar before smoking. To prevent the wire sieve of the warmer from sticking together due to the resins, sprinkle a small amount of sand on the sieve or place aluminum foil under the food to be smoked.

Yes, the incense burner is very suitable for home smoking. The concrete warmer has proven its qualities countless times in practice. For this,  only the lower part of the incense burner is used. This is filled with sand and a piece of coal is placed in the middle. You can then put your smoked food on the table and walk around your living room or practice room with the warmer.

Clear water is the easiest and most gentle form of cleaning the incense burners. If it is particularly dirty, it can be cleaned with a mild soap under running water. Use a cloth or brush for this and dry the concrete paper towel dispenser with a cloth after cleaning. Bathroom cleaners and acid should not come into contact with the concrete, but harsh cleaning agents are not necessary.

If there are residues of dried resin stuck in the sieve, simply take it outside and heat these areas with a lighter. The resin begins to burn and  comes off the screen. Be careful, sometimes the hot resin residue drips off.

No, the material can withstand the temperatures that occur during smoking. When smoking with charcoal, you should only fill the lower part with sand. Also to protect the surface on which the warmer stands. To be on the safe side, we recommend using an additional coaster between the warmer and the surface.

Basically the incense burner has the same color as in the product photos. However, concrete is a natural product made from the raw materials cement and sand, which are subject to natural color variations. There may therefore be minimal color differences from batch to batch. If you buy several items from our portfolio at once, we will of course look for products that match in color so that you end up with a harmonious set.
